CRA Reporting Copilot / Terms of use
Last updated: 20 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Atlassian Forge app CRA Reporting Copilot (the "App") provided by Kazunari Itagaki ("Provider"). By installing or using the App, the entity on whose behalf it is installed (the "Customer", "you") agrees to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
The App is a compliance-support tool. It assists with meeting the reporting obligations under Article 14 of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (the Cyber Resilience Act, "CRA") — for example, by organizing information, drafting report text aligned to published reporting data fields, and computing indicative timelines.
The App is not legal advice, and is not a substitute for legal, regulatory, or professional judgment. In particular:
Subject to these Terms and to your compliance with the Atlassian Marketplace terms, the Provider grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App within your Atlassian Cloud tenant for your internal business purposes for the duration of a valid subscription/installation.
You may not (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent permitted by mandatory law; (b) resell, sublicense, or provide the App as a service to third parties; (c) remove or alter notices, disclaimers, or attributions; or (d) use the App in violation of applicable law or the Atlassian Marketplace terms.
You are responsible for: (a) all reporting decisions and submissions under the CRA; (b) the accuracy and completeness of data in your Atlassian tenant that the App relies on; (c) independently verifying any timeline, classification, or draft the App produces before relying on it; (d) obtaining your own qualified legal and regulatory advice; and (e) meeting all statutory deadlines. The App's outputs are inputs to your judgment, not conclusions you may rely on without verification.
Reference datasets (e.g., a KEV-type catalog) are shipped as a static snapshot bundled with the App, with no live external connection. The snapshot may be out of date relative to the source at any given moment. Timelines and classifications the App computes are indicative and depend on inputs, on interpretive questions that remain unsettled (including guidance still in draft form), and on facts only the Customer can confirm. The Provider does not warrant that any output is correct, complete, or current.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, and any warranty that the App will meet your requirements or that its outputs will be error-free or will satisfy any regulatory obligation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify the Provider against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the App, the data you place in your Atlassian tenant, or your compliance decisions and submissions.
The App is provided without any service level agreement. The Provider makes no commitment as to uptime, availability, response time, support responsiveness, maintenance windows, or the timing of updates (including updates to bundled reference snapshots). The App runs on the Atlassian Forge platform, and availability depends on Atlassian's platform, which is outside the Provider's control.
The Provider may update, modify, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Reference-data snapshots are updated only when a new App version is released; the Provider does not commit to any update frequency.
Fees (if any) are as stated on the Atlassian Marketplace listing and are handled through Atlassian's billing. Taxes are your responsibility except as required otherwise by law.
These Terms apply while the App is installed. Either party may terminate by uninstalling / withdrawing the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and these survival provisions) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with exclusive jurisdiction in the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance, to the extent permitted by mandatory provisions of applicable law.
Your use of Atlassian products and the Marketplace is separately governed by Atlassian's terms. Nothing here overrides Atlassian's terms; in case of conflict regarding the platform, Atlassian's terms govern the platform relationship.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding the App. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary.
